The TFM-212 is a passive two-way low profile floor monitor designed for use in TV and broadcast studio applications.
Comprising two custom designed 12” low frequency drivers and a 1” high frequency compression driver on a 80° x 60° horn, combined with a low-loss third order passive crossover network, the TFM-212 features a very unobtrusive profile, enabling it to be used wherever accurate sound quality and minimal sightline disturbance is essential, such as in television studios and other broadcast applications. The asymmetrical high frequency horn design minimises sound spillage into microphones and allows high gain before the onset of feedback.
Constructed from 15mm (5/8”) marine grade birch plywood, the enclosure is finished in a very durable semi-matt textured TurboBlue™ paint, or optional black semimatt textured paint. Two flush handles are provided for lifting and carrying.
Two recessed Speakon NL4MP connectors are provided for quick and easy hookup, while the loudspeaker components are protected from damage by a grey powder coated perforated steel mesh grille
